Sponsorships at Caribu

Can Caribu sponsor my event?

Yes! We value the loyalty of our customers and aim to give back to the equestrian community whenever possible. We appreciate the cost and complexity that is required to run a good equestrian event. As a national distributor, we receive numerous requests for event sponsorship daily from various disciplines all around Australia. While we would love to support everyone, it’s not always feasible. To manage this, we maintain a sponsorship calendar, ensuring we contribute to diverse disciplines and regions regularly. Please note that sponsorships are available exclusively to Caribu customers.

How do you provide sponsorship?

In most cases, we will provide rugs or accessories for prizes, online gift vouchers or a combination of both. We don't provide cash donations unless in exceptional circumstances/events. We only sponsor equestrian events and generally don't sponsor raffles or fundraisers.

Do you sponsor individual riders?

We are not currently sponsoring riders. However, we are working on a framework to introduce a program to encourage young and upcoming riders in the future.

What are the requirements for Caribu to sponsor our event?

To qualify for consideration for sponsorship please provide us with all of the following details via the email address below:

  • Your group or organisations name registered association details
  • Your organisation's website and contact details (prizes will be sent to your registered address for your association)
  • Your event date and event discipline
  • The anticipated number of participants (if this is an annual event, please include numbers from previous years)
  • A minimum of 4 weeks notice

Is there anything we need to do in return for your sponsorship?

Mutual support helps us continue sponsoring equestrian events like yours while building connections within the wider equestrian community. This is why we ask that you:

  • Display our donated goods/rugs on the day
  • Add a link to the Caribu website on your website
  • Include a small Caribu logo in your event program/draw. If you are sending an electronic copy of your event program to your members, we can provide a PDF file with relevant imagery for you to use. (This is a requirement for receiving our sponsored prizes.)
  • Spread the word! After the event, post pictures from your event on our Facebook page and let us know how successful it was.
