Lycra Shoulder Guard Horse Rug

Our lycra chest & shoulder guards are an alternative to a traditional bib to help reduce rubbing from horse rugs across the shoulders, chest and whither.

These are designed to sit higher up on the horse's neckline and chest area compared to a standard bib. They feature an adjustable neckline and generous belly strap keeps the bib in place and secure.

The higher neckline cut helps reduce mane rub some horses get just above the whither when wearing combos.

Lycra sits snug against the horse's coat - so will be warmer for a horse to wear. Please take this into consideration in regards to the weather you will be using this product in.

Additionally, the nature of lycra does mean that they are certainly not as durable as our other shoulder guards and bibs. In most cases, we personally prefer the use of one of our Premium Shoulder Bibs, which are cooler and much more durable.
