Meet the Apex
Making a sustainable rug is a project that Caribu has been working on for a while. We are passionate about our environment and are often trying to find ways to reduce our ecological footprint.
That's why we're so proud to launch the Apex, our first eco-rug. The Apex is woven from PET yarn, which is made from plastic bottles, meaning the more rugs we make, the fewer plastic bottles are in our environment. But that's not all - for every 907kg of PET fabric used, 5,443kg of oil is saved.
When curating the Apex, it was important to us that we maintain the high quality of Caribu rugs. And we have done just that. Cut from 100% PET recycled fabric, this rug features a 900 denier outer with soft aeromesh lining. It's breathable and has a detach-a-neck for seasonal versatility.
